Medusa's Grief

this is a tribute for a very dear friend of mine. She is very close to me. I am so releived she turned out ok.
I am very glad I was able to finish it.
Most people portray Medusa as a wicked evil witch who turns every hunter into stone. But I always felt that she has a side not yet shown..her grief or turning everything she looks at into stone..making her lonely and fragile.
painted in photosop using many references. took about 13 hours in total.
